Love Sweet Love

May 4, 2010

Warm congratulations to Courtney Hildenbrand, one of our favorite Mojuba brides, and her fiance, Kevin Casey, on their upcoming wedding!  Courtney, an account executive at Chicago Social Bride, and Kevin, a medical student at Loyola Stritch School of Medicine, were college sweethearts  at the University of Illinois.  The two met in 2004 at an election day party that was thrown by her sorority and his fraternity.  While politics these days can often drive people apart, how nice that in this case it brought these two together!

Friends and family gathered to celebrate the happy couple last weekend at Glen Prairie Restaurant in Glen Ellyn, IL.  Beautiful cherry blossoms and bouquets of ranunculus and peonies in bark vases were flown in from France and arranged by Elizabeth Wray Design.  They were the perfect accents to the space.  The cake, supplied by the Baking Institute,  incorporated hints of Paris, which is where Courtney and Kevin will be honeymooning.  The couple discovered their common love for travel while studying abroad together in Florence, Italy.

To top it all off, there was a delicious a sweets table by Flour Cake and Pastry, complete with monogrammed cupcakes, lemon bars, key lime tarts, assorted cookies and candies, and kolacki – a family favorite.  Elisa Sorrentino of EB Creative photographed the shower; we included a few of our favorite pics!

The wedding date is set for May 30, 2010, and with a Mojuba Bride and Mojuba Groom bag on hand their big day is sure to go off without a hitch!  Congratulations again, Courtney – we wish you and Kevin a lifetime of happiness!
